Bedroom Design

It is a jungle out there when you are trying to decide on a bedroom design but it doesn't have to be as confusing as you think. This wonderful haven that we all love can be a very easy project. It can become your favorite reading room, a place to curl up on the bed and nap or a place to escape from the kids after hubby gets home for the evening. You want it to be the perfect hideaway and it can be this without being a long drawn out process. Even if organizing your bedroom seems like an overwhelming task, you can do it in parts over a certain amount of time. Either way you will be delighted with the results.

The first thing you notice when you walk into someone's home is the walls. It should be no different with your bedroom so that is where you start your redecorating. Try to stay with a neutral color and make your statement in what you hang on your walls, such as a pretty picture. You can also do this by taking one wall for pictures only whether they are pictures of the family or any theme that you would care to use. It makes for a very nice wall to look at.

If you want to get a little artistic, then try pressing leaves and drying them. After they are dry put them into a frame and hang them on the wall. This is a great idea if you pick a jungle theme for your bedroom. Replace your ordinary light fixture with a Hawaiian ceiling fan on the ceiling and your theme won't be long emerging, especially if you bring some live foliage right into your bedroom. There is no end to what you can do to make your bedroom a room where you want to spend time in with or without someone else there.
